What is the difference between Galvanic Water Peeler Gold and Galvanic Water Peeler Silver?

Gold: This device has a gold-plated spatula and handle that improve the conductivity of galvanic current and light reflection. In addition, the gold coating helps to even out and lighten the skin tone, giving it a radiant glow. Recommended for use from the age of 25.

Silver: The spatula of this device is made of high quality medical steel. Like the Gold version, it does not cause allergies. Recommended for use from the age of 14.

The cosmetic procedure takes place in two stages:

Step 1: Ultrasonic peeling

Ultrasonic scrubbing is a gentle and safe facial cleansing procedure. To improve the conductivity of ultrasound waves, the device is used on wet skin. The spatula, made of hypoallergenic gold or medical silver, generates 30,000 ultrasound waves per second that penetrate deep into the epidermis to thoroughly remove dirt, cleanse pores and eliminate oil build-up, exfoliate dead cells and prevent bruising and inflammation. Ultrasonic exfoliation stimulates cell renewal, evens out the micro-layer and smoothes the skin's surface.

Step 2: Galvanic treatment + Light therapy

Galvanic treatment is a cosmetic procedure in which a weak current (up to 50mA) is applied to the skin. Galvanic current has a strong stimulating effect: it increases blood and lymph circulation, improves tissue respiration and normalises metabolism.

The procedure heals and regenerates the skin in a complex way, performing several functions:

• Smoothes the micro contours of the face, reduces the visibility of pores
• Effectively cleanses, removes sebum and dull skin cells, prevents keratinisation.
• Improves complexion, lightens dark under-eye circles

Light therapy positively affects the skin in many ways. Depending on the length of the light wave, the rays penetrate to different depths of the skin and work on specific tasks. The device uses two types of LED light:

• Blue light: is aimed at healing the skin and fighting acne. The short-wave radiation (470 nm) affects the top layer of the skin, with a strong antibacterial effect. Blue light therapy reduces the number of pimples, prevents pore clogging and prevents inflammation.
• Red light: has a pronounced rejuvenating effect. Long wavelengths (624 nm) penetrate deep into the dermis, improving cell metabolism and microcirculation. Red light stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, increases skin elasticity and enriches cells with oxygen.

Usage:

Ultrasonic peeling:

• Use on damp skin after cleansing.
• Take the appliance, remove the caps and switch it on with a short push of a button.
• Gently run the device over facial contours, barely touching the skin.

Blue light therapy:

• Switch on the device with two short presses of a button. If the device is already in ultrasonic scrub mode, press the button once.
• Apply an ampoule or essence to the skin.
• Rotate the device so that it touches your face with the tip flat. When the device comes into contact with the skin, the blue light will turn on automatically.
• Gently run the device across the middle of the face towards the edge.

Red light therapy:

• Switch on the device with three short presses of a button. If the device is already in blue light therapy mode, press the button once.
• Apply a nourishing cream or anti-ageing product.
• Rotate the device so that it touches your face with the tip flat. When the device comes into contact with the skin, the red light will turn on automatically.
